Heidi Tastet, MD

Biography

Dr. Tastet is a board-certified family medicine provider with experience in both pediatric and adult medicine. Her interests include lifestyle medicine, preventive care, and chronic disease management. She is also engaged in local and global health initiatives focused on addressing chronic disease in the communities she serves.

As a Gateway faculty coach, Dr. Tastet supports students in their professional and personal development. As co-lead for the Ambulatory/ED Immersion, she helps immerse students in a variety of clinical settings and provides early bedside learning opportunities that integrate multiple areas of the curriculum into patient care. She also serves on several committees across the medical school.
