The WashU Medicine Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine is open to qualified physicians who have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Practice. Our goal is to develop outstanding clinicians and healthcare leaders in the areas of clinical geriatrics, medical education, aging research and health care improvement.

Our small size provides for high quality interactions between faculty and fellows, and the flexibility to customize the learning experience to each fellow’s career goals. The fellowship consists of a mandatory one-year clinical experience. Our training program emphasizes interdisciplinary team management of older adults with diverse medical conditions. Application Process
Applicants are expected to have completed a three-year ACGME-accredited INTERNAL MEDICINE or FAMILY MEDICINE residency; or RCPSC accredited INTERNAL MEDICINE residency or CFPC-accredited FAMILY MEDICINE residency PRIOR to appointment in the program.

Application Requirements
Your ERAS application should include the following:
- A completed ERAS Application
- A current Curriculum Vitae
- A one-page personal statement
- Three letters of recommendation (including one from your past or current program director)
- Photo (optional)
Interviews will be arranged by invitation after review of completed applications.
