Dr. Caroline Katzman is a board-certified Internal Medicine & Adolescent Medicine physician with expertise in primary care and young adult health. She graduated magna cum laude with Honors from Brown University where she studied Human Biology with a focus on Race & Gender Studies. She earned her medical degree at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and completed Internal Medicine Residency at NYU with a focus on Primary Care. She then went on to complete a 3-year fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Columbia University/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, where she received significant subspecialty training in adolescent acute and primary care.
As an internist with adolescent training, she focuses on the transition of young adults into the world of adult medicine. She brings expertise in Young Adult Health with significant training in the medical management of eating disorders, reproductive health, gender-affirming care, LGBTQIA+ health, and psychiatry. Additionally, she sees adults of all ages for preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and interdisciplinary care coordination. Her research focuses on contraception decision-making, contact tracing, and substance use. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM), and the American College of Physicians (ACP).
