The Division of General Internal Medicine is organized into four Sections.

Ambulatory Medicine
Our physicians provide exceptional outpatient care, spanning primary care services, preventive medicine and chronic disease management for people from all backgrounds.

Geriatrics
Our nationally recognized geriatricians are dedicated to addressing the unique health needs of older adults through comprehensive primary and specialty care.

Hospital Medicine
Our hospitalists deliver the highest quality of compassionate care for hospitalized patients with complex medical conditions requiring inpatient treatment.

Research
Our research faculty lead studies in global health, implementation science, clinical and health services, and clinical operations and quality, all with a focus on improving human health.
